Elections are coming in India money will rain on people in the form of free schemes if they vote for us they will give us TV free we will give them a gas cylinder they will give us a scooter we will give them to that scheme but do they give it for free after hearing this many people say that health and education are available for free in India that we join our private schools and hospitals with high standards the point here is that giving free government education and health is not just giving free services to those who can not pay. govt should provide it completely free of cost to all regardless of whether it is a private school bikas money should be given on the basis of status. In India health and education come under service not business. So they should be equally available to all and so what should the government do but not only the central government not even any state government in India is doing this but what is the real reason for this in fact if health and education is completely free in India then what are the 90 percentage schemes that are being given free of charge to the people no need
But because who is not doing that work why are political parties giving these free schemes how does it make a country or state go forward or backward today I am going to tell you what the Supreme Court and Reserve Bank of India have said about this. It is there but miss it at all. In the basic principles of the Indian Constitution that is in the Direct Principles of State Policy there is this social welfare which means that the government can provide some special schemes and subsidies to treat the people of all sections of the society equally. Governments have brought many schemes but why am I talking about this now because with the passage of time some political parties have stopped using the term social welfare to develop the society and are using this power in the form of free schemes to attract voters for their own political agendas and come back to power all these free schemes given by the political parties are not for votes but oddly these free schemes are of two types one is merit free piece and the other do not get confused by the names because it is very simple.
A particular product or service given free today through free medal will give advantage to the state in the future there is a benefit and that is why these are called merit but what do you mean by non varieties schemes which are given for temporary benefits and to sway voters towards them are called non merit free base gas cylinders cycles scooters TV Smart Phones etc ome states are giving gold while others are dividing the voters into categories and depositing money directly in their account but here you may get a doubt why they are giving political parties when there is no use in the future the answer is very simple to distribute money to buy. In 2006 the DMK in Tamil Nadu offered free color TVs for partying the year they came to power Karunanidhi became the CM so the opposition party AE DMK did not rest after seeing this. In the elections held in 2011 they also took all these schemes to the next level and announced that they will give free four grams of gold to students grinders, ceiling fans and women to get mangalsutras. It did not stop Bihar CM Nitish Kumar who noticed this strategy offered to give free cycle if you vote for him in Bihar elections he announced that he will give free cycle if you vote for him but Arvind Kejriwal who noticed how many political parties came into power due to free schemes took these free schemes to the next level in 2013.
